This is one of seven GTS2 police vehicles produced by SVD in 1990. These cars were essentially the same as the GTS2, but came in Classic White paint instead of Red, and missed out on a few features such ast he GTS embroidery on the seats and didn't receive a DVS build number on the dash (but rather a unique TP number of 1 - 7 on the SVD id plate). For more information on the SVD police cars, see the information Guide for the GTS2 here.

This 1968 GT500KR is currently advertised as a classified ad on Ebay USA, claiming to be one of seven SAAC documented vehicles, and with an appropriately scary price tag over $200,000 (USD). Considering we’ve seen several others in more original form under this price, we consider this one a bit too steep, but nonetheless a well restored example. The 1968 GT500 saw the introduction of a revised front-end design, and the factory 428 ‘Cobra Jet’ motor, producing a claimed 335hp (although most...

This Metallic Green 1979 South African Mini GTS represents the last iteration of the GTS which finished production in 1980. This particular car's details were provided to Classic Register by a GTS enthusiast and collector in South Africa. The car appears to be in its original paint with gold stripes, and has all the correct codes / identification numbers for an original GTS of 1979. At some point, however, it appears the 8.4 inch disc brakes must have been removed and replaced with smaller 7.5...

This 1976 South African Mini GTS is in relatively original condition, the details of which were provided to Classic Register by a GTS enthusiast and collector in South Africa. The car is in its original blue paint, and has all the correct codes / identification numbers for an original GTS. The car remains largely original, with a few minor aftermarket changes such as the black side trim and non-original steering wheel. If you own a GTS, please add your car to Classic Register or contact us and...

This GTS1 was posted on Facebook in December 2009, with the seller confirming it is a one owner car, with only 120,000k on the clock. The car was stated to be completely unmodified, and even included its original radio cassette! Original engine was still in the car at the time of sale, and the seller stated it had never been in a crash. Nothing much else is known, other than the location indicated by the plates which confirm it was in Tasmania at the time of sale. For those interested, check out...

Another GTS2 found online, but the only details we have are the images. This is number 072 of 200 built, and seems to be in a fairly used state, with some aftermarket rims installed. Not sure if it's still around, but if anyone knows, please get in touch so we can update its profile. For those interested, check out our GTS2 Skyline register, or the GTS2 SVD information guide.

These images of build number 001 were found online some time ago, and unfortunately we don't know where the car's currently located. If anyone has information about build number 001, and the missing details (chassis / engine number), please get in touch so we can add these to the register. For those interested, check out our GTS2 Skyline register, or the GTS2 SVD information guide.

Leyland
This GT was advertised here on Carsales.com.au in June 2016, asking $15,000 - quite a lot, considering the restoration work still required (car is currently in pieces). It is however a great project for those looking for the super rare Australian GT. The seller notes that everything is there for the restoration, including importantly the original engine with the correct number stamping. They believe the engine to be the original bore which appears in good condition. It still has its standard...

This Ford Falcon 500 XB GS coupe was advertised on Ebay in June 2017, with bids up to $60,000, and only 3 days to go. The seller noted it has a Cleveland 351 with 5,000 ks since rebuild from Ford Muscle Parts. It's fitted with 4v Heads, roller rockers, a top loader gearbox, stainless steel exhaust, 128l drop-tank and an XY GT 9-inch rear end. The interior trim and carpet has also been re-done. No rust in this one according to the seller! Add your rare XB to Classic Register - sign up and record...

Porsche
During the 1970s Porsche started to forge its image as a leading sports car brand, it did this mainly by introducing technologies such as turbo charging. For 1974, the engines come in only two stages of tune. The regular 911 has what is basically the old "T" engine, but with 300cc additional displacement. It has an 8.0-to-1 compression ratio and is rated at 143 hp (net) at 5700 rpm. The S and the Carrera share a similarly enlarged "S" engine. It has a higher (8.5-to-1) compression ratio, larger...

This HSV Statesman (build number 029) is one of only 48 units (+ 3 Caprice models) produced in the VR series between September 1994 and March 1995, and the first on Classic Register. This was HSVs long wheelbase performance option, preceding the introduction of the 'Grange' nameplate on the VS based models from 1995. This particular car is currently advertised on Ebay Australia with a few days remaining, and bids at $8,200 (AUD). As the seller has noted (and some fact checking of our own through...

Coupe
This particular example of Chevy's famous corvette is packed with factory features such as genuine factory wheels, tinted windows and air conditioning. The C3 was released in the late 1960s and the same body shape (although with minor adjustments) was used up until the early 1980s making this car one of the longest series of american sports cars to be produced. This example features a 5.7L v8, this block was the pre fuel injection block that was introduced in the 1882 model. By the time this car...
