This is a very rare 1967 VW Beetle convertible, this model of Volkswagen Beetle received a slight boost in power. The horizontally opposed, overhead-cylinder engine displaced 91.1 cubic-inches and offered 53 horsepower. The engine is the original/correct unit, HO647637, HO shows its a '67 1500cc 53HP, number range for '67 is 294001-874119. This poor 250SE (currently advertised here on Ebay USA in Florida) is in dire need of someone's help. Sadly, the engine and transmission are also missing from the car, so this auction will provide an interesting test case for what a rolling shell in very poor condition is worth.
