Great to get another John Goss Special Falcon 500 hardtop on the register - this one was offered through Grays Auctions in April/May 2022 - and at the time of writing there were 4 days to run on the auction, and bids were already over $50,000. Looks to be a very solid and original example which has been partially disassembled. Most of it looks like it's there, but it's certainly not the hardest project XB out there. From the archives, this Barret Jackson auction goes back to 2010 where this beautiful 1954 Le Mans coupe was offered for sale - in my personal favourit body style with the angular rear pillar and wrap around glass.. This claims to be one of just 90 produced for the 1954 year. At the time it was offered, the seller noted it had undergone a three year nut and bolt restoration, with no expense spared to bring the car to perfection. This 53 model Nash Healey Le Mans Coupe was offered through "Mecum Auctions" in Dallas. Texas back in 2018. We're unsure what it sold for but expect it was likely $75,000 + USD. It's an absolutely immaculate example of the Le Mans coupe, and is one of just 506 built in this style between 1951 and 1954. Shannons has some great examples come through its auctions, and this upcoming auction ( link here) has a claimed super low-mileage example of the 1275 LS. Looks to be in fantastic original condition and claims to only show 1000km on the clock.. You have to remember, however, that the odometer on these cars does stop & reset at 100,000km, and by the look of the condition, it may have done that, but I don't think we'll ever know unless we could trace the maintenance history. Not exactly a complete running example, but very important to get every single one of these on the register no matter what their state: There were just 620 V8s built for 66, so these are exceptionally rare.. Looks like this one was originally Sienna Red - and would have had a vinyl roof in either black or white..
