Well we spotted another, this time on Gumtree.com.au, asking $20,000 AUD. The car looks fairly complete and solid but does need a restoration. At the time this gem was offered the seller stated the following: "Complete car but not running has a 200 b engine no rust resprayed 20 years ago been sitting in a carport covered since". That respray 20 years ago has probably saved the car from the crusher, as these do suffer a lot from rust.. Great colour though - not sure whether a yellow exterior goes...

These used to be everywhere but now it's so hard to find one in good condition, that even the wrecks have become pricey. They are one of the best looking coupes of the 70s, but did suffer from tin worm and weren't exactly treated well by their owners it seems... This one came up on Ebay in February 2022 - 3 days to run and bids up to $10k. Despite the rust and extensive work needed to bring this beast back to its former glory, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw this sell for the mid to high teens...

This low km example of the BF GT Cobra is build number 078 of just 400 released. These were launched to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Moffat and Bond's 1-2 famous finish at the Bathurst 1000, and of course as a tribute to the 2-door hardtop Falcon Cobra coupe of 1978 - which itself had just 400 units produced. Been a bit slack adding these GTs to the register of late - this is build number 55, and was spotted for sale on Ebay Australia with a buy it now price of $72,000 AUD. Spotted on Ebay Australia in February 2022, this Cobra pickup had a buy it now price of $95,000 AUD. Not really a bad price considering you probably wouldn't lose any value over the next 10 years, with the car having just 10,000km. This very clean example of the 929 coupe was advertised on FB marketplace in February 2021, asking $12,500 - not too bad at all considering the low km and general condition of the car.
