It's been a while since we've spotted a Tickford FBT for sale - this one located in Vic, and at the time was asking $27,000 AUD. I feel like I'm repeating myself recently - It wasn't even 5 years ago that you could grab one easily under 15K, and I've seen some average examples under 10K.. Lovely blue example of the CR8 Sprint spotted on Ebay in early 2022, asking 69,000! Just a few years ago, you could get these for under 15K.. An excellent original example of the 1275 LS. Recently purchased in Adelaide. Car originally purchased in Ballarat VIC but then moved to Sydney NSW before being transported to South Australia Matching numbers car that comes with original paperwork and is generally untouched. In original condition apart from a number of tasteful modifications (stage 1 kit including air filter and exhaust, new wheels and upgraded stereo) Car is in full working order and is used frequently.

This high mileage Australian delivered example is a very early 93 mode car, badged as the SEC. The SEC badge didn't last too long on the 140 series so it's always interesting to see these early examples). Looks to have had reasonable wear and tear for a car with over 300,000 on the clock - it was originally asking $16,000, but that has since come down to $12,000.. I spotted this rare XR6 wagon on carsales.com.au in February 2022 - asking a huge $38,5090. Yes, it's had a paint job and presents well, but less than a decade ago you could pick one up for well under $10,000 - but this one is a bit more special in that it is supposedly an ex police vehicle. Either way, the wagons in XR trim were one of the rarest XRs. I think this is the first one on classicregister.com. This one sold a few years back through musclecarsales - see the original ad here. This is 1999 TL50 build No 12. Finished in Sparkling burgundy with dark burgundy leather trim, it has the enhanced Tickford motor, ESS sports shift. Log books and just 98,000ks. This one would be worth over 30K now with that sort of mileage. See the others on the register below.

This is build number 14 of just 58 produced. At the time of offering, the car was noted as having just 102,000Ks. The owner at the time has had the car since Feb 2011, bought then with 99,600 kms from the original owner. The car has been in storage, and drives like new. An LPG system was added in Feb 2011. Don't see too many in white and I think they look great, particularly with the contrasting black accents (wheel arches, rubbers etc). This classic GTiR was advertised on Facebook marketplace in January 2022, asking $20,000. The seller claims it has just 78,000km, but it's noted as being a repairable write-off explaining that price - there have been many asking over 25K during covid, sop this is a bit cheaper... Looks fairly original but has aftermarket rims, and of course has had a front mounted...

This Maloo sold on Grays Auctions in late 2021 - for nearly $30,000! Lowish Ks for a 96 model at 150,00, and looks to be in very good original condition.. No description was given about the car at the time it sold, but the pictures give a fairly decent indication of what the car's like. Check out the original advertisement here.

Spotted this 1275 LS for sale on Gumtree Australia in QLD, asking $34,500. Looks like it was originally nugget gold in colour (per the engine bay shot), and has since been changed to hi-ho silver - although I note it has the correct red trim... So I'm really not sure what's going on! Anyway, another for the register which I assume I don't have yet.. Check out the original advertisement here.
